The overwhelming conclusion is that there is a major crisis in America with very serious and very costly consequences. Obesity, disease, hunger, malnutrition, food deserts, scarcity, addiction, crime, efficacy of mental health interventions, and disruptive and anti-social behaviors, all are impacted by nutrition , exercise, and life-style choices. The nation is weaker if its citizens are suffering and their options are limited. For children this results in a lack of learning capacity leading to addictions as an adult.
